A ‘tremendous’ nature reserve has been created in Somerset to spice up wildlife in a area famend for its biodiversity. 

Protecting 1,413 hectares – an space equal to round 2,600 soccer pitches – the reserve is residence to wildflower meadows, woodlands, wild horses, and wonder spots reminiscent of Cheddar Gorge (pictured) and the Mendip Hills.
