The Primetime Emmys introduced the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program Category 2003 to their Primetime Emmys. This category became a staple of the show, winning 10 of its 15 nominations, and averaging close to 10 million viewers per season.
The reality series had to travel in order to continue, and the show was hit with its own bump in 2019. After major delays, season32 returned to television in October 2020, nearly two years after filming ceased.
