If your dogs shed as much as mine, then get ready because I’m about to save your allergies and your floors! The BarxBuddy Self-Cleaning Dog Brush is the best brush I have ever used on my pups. It works wonders for brushing, it helps nip shedding in the bud, and best of all, it cleans itself, so it’s perfect for procrastinators like me!
Usually, brushes like this have one of two issues, either I won’t like it, or my dogs won’t like it. With the BarxBuddy Self-Cleaning Dog Brush, we’re finally both happy! Let me get to the point and explain what I like the most about this brush.
Ergonomic
I figured I’d start with the handle because it’s the first thing you’ll notice when using this brush. The BarxBuddy self-cleaning dog brush sports a nice, comfort-grip handle with a smooth, ergonomic design.
Now, I don’t know how rowdy your dogs are or how long it takes you to brush them, but it usually takes me around 20 minutes per pup. When I’m working my wrist and arm that long, I need something comfortable!
This brush hasn’t given me any issues in my joints. It’s very lightweight, and I can brush for as long as I need to.
Easy Cleaning
It’s time for the “Self-Cleaning” aspect of the BarxBuddy self-cleaning dog brush. This brush has a nice big button on it, and all you have to do is press that button. Next thing you know, viola, the brush is clean!
It’s really that simple. No more sitting around for another 30 minutes ripping chunks of hair after the brush when you’re done.
No Mercy on the Hair
My main concern when looking at brushes like this, which are lightweight and self-cleaning, is that they won’t be able to get the job done. I’m afraid I’ll buy the brush and that it will just be too wimpy to get the hair out.
I can say, with a smile, that the BarxBuddy self-cleaning dog brush is not wimpy at all. It was built with thick undercoats in mind.
Preventative
The only thing better than being reactive to shedding is being proactive! One of the main purposes of the BarxBuddy brush is to prevent dog shedding.
The brush was designed with this purpose in mind, and I have to say, it does its job! Whether you have long-haired or short-haired dogs, this brush is great for getting all of the hair off of them so that you no longer find it lying all over your house.
The brush helps distribute your pup’s natural oils, which in turn creates a shinier, healthier coat.
All Dogs are Equal (and cats!)
I touched on it above, but this brush is fantastic for big dogs, small dogs, dogs with long hair, dogs with short hair, and even cats!
How do I know? Well, I have most of those! I have a little long-haired Dachshund as well as a big, thick-coated Chesapeake Bay Retriever and this brush works wonders on both of them.
They both love brush time. While I haven’t personally tried this brush on a kitty, I trust the BarxBuddy website when it says the BarxBuddy dog brush would work just as well!
