Actress Zoë KravitzShe seems to have confirmed that her Catwoman is bisexual. She spoke to an Australian media outlet about her film. The Batman. When asked if Catwoman–A.K.A Selina Kyle–and the female character Anika were former lovers, she responded:
“That’s definitely the way I interpreted that, that they had some kind of romantic relationship.”
The interviewer expressed her joy over a LGBTQ heroine. Zoë replied:
“I agree!”
The innovative allusion is The Batman Director Matt Reeves stated:
“So I don’t think we meant to go directly in that way, but you can interpret it that way for sure. She has an intimacy with that character and it’s a tremendous and deep caring for that character, more so than a sexual thing, but there was meant to be quite an intimate relationship between them.”
Bruce Wayne/Batman is portrayed as Catwoman. Robert PattinsonHowever, there’s a scene that suggests that she may have dated Anika in her past. During a scene that goes back in time, Catwoman returns to her apartment and calls Anika “baby.” In another scene, she refers to the woman as a “friend.”
