Louisiana rappers more than a year later YoungBoy Never Broke AgainA court date has been set for Kentrell Gaulden, who was arrested on gun charges. Kentrell Gaulden, the rapper, was arrested along with 15 others on drug and gun charges in September 2020 while filming a music clip in Baton Rouge. YoungBoy Never Broke AgainHe, aged 22 years old, will appear in court to face these charges on May 16th. He has pleaded guilty and is currently under house arrest.
His court date is announced days after a ruling to suppress video evidence. YoungBoy Never Broke AgainHe is also known by the nickname NBA Youngboy and is seen holding weapons. The footage was reportedly found in SD memory cards that U.S. District Court Chief judge Shelly Dick stated were improperly searched. Dick also said the search warrant that police conducted was “invalid.”
NBA’s attorney Drew Findling reacted to the ruling in a statement. Findling stated:
We’re 100 percent convinced of his innocence, and now we have to continue to evaluate our strategy. The court saw the obvious inconsistency of law enforcement, and it resulted a slew thrown out evidence. We’re looking forward to going to court.
Since breaking out with his 2018 song “Outside Today,” NBA’s career has been dogged by legal issues and drama.
