A truly sad story is coming out of the Pacific Northwest this week. According to reports, two young boys have died after a horrible accident took place while they were on a rafting trip with their father.
Cash and Grady Troyer, 7 and 9, died during a weekend rafting trip with their father on the Grande Ronde River in Wallowa County, police and family said.
At this time, investigators have not said whether the boys had been wearing life preservers when they entered the water. Apparently, their raft hit a large rock near the end of their trip and it sent the boys overboard.
The father dove in after his sons but the water was simply too fast. He was unable to reach them. Another boat eventually pulled them from the water but they could not be resuscitated.
"Dad loved those little boys with every ounce of his being," their older sister Remington Frazier, 22, told The Oregonian/OregonLive in an interview Tuesday.
Please join us in praying for their family during this awful time. We ask for God's healing grace to touch their lives.
