A major corporation, World Waters, LLC, issued a recall on February 8th for one of their popular juice products. The juices were distributed to retail locations nationwide.

The recalled product is called “Cold Pressed Juice Watermelon WTRMLN WTR Original 12 packs.” Only the watermelon flavor with sales dates of December 22, 2018 – February 5, 2019 are impacted by this recall.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall came in response to the possibility of “soft plastic loosely floating in some of the finished products.” World Waters is concerned that this could be a choking hazard.

The company is urging consumers to check the packaging prior to consumption. The recall was voluntarily issued by the company out of precaution; no customer complaints have been reported.
