If you think witchcraft is a thing of the past, tell that to the 1300 people who have signed up to put a hex on Judge Kavanaugh this Saturday at a public event in New York.
"Please join us for a public hex on Brett Kavanaugh, upon all rapists and the patriarchy at large which emboldens, rewards and protects them," invites a Brooklyn, New York metaphysical store called Catland.
"We are embracing witchcraft's true roots as the magik of the poor, the downtrodden and disenfranchised and it's history as often the only weapon, the only means of exacting justice available to those of us who have been wronged by men just like him," continues their Facebook invite.
"He will be the focal point, but by no means the only target," continues the invite, "so bring your rage and and all of the axes you've got to grind. There will also be a second ritual afterward - 'The Rites of the Scorned One' which seeks to validate, affirm, uphold and support those of us who have been wronged and who refuse to be silent any longer."
Quite tellingly, the event proceeds will be donated to two charities: the Ali Forney Center (the largest LGBT community center in New York) and Planned Parenthood (the largest abortion provider). So if there's any confusion about witchcraft's relationship to the LGBT agenda and abortion, look no further.
While mainstream media has tended to trivialize those involved in the witchcraft movement, that is no longer the case. The event was even referenced by Amy Kremer, co-founder of the group Women for Trump, in an interview with MSNBC on Sunday. "It is a scary time right now," Kremer said. "Now, you've got witches that are placing a hex on [Supreme Court Justice] Brett Kavanaugh."
The event is this Saturday, the 20th. Please pray for Judge Kavanaugh, along with his family, as they have been under incredible fire. Much of the retaliation against him is because he is feared to undo Roe v. Wade and to stand for other biblically-based issues.
