On Monday, October 15, the sad news was reported that a 13-year-old girl in Wisconsin is missing. The young girl was considered "missing and in danger" following the death of her parents. Jayme's parents were found dead in their home.

An Amber Alert for Jayme was issued on Monday. According to Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald, the police discovered the young girl was missing after a 911 call was made from inside the family's residence. Upon arrival, police discovered that 56-year-old  James Closs and 46-year-old Denise Closs had been shot to death.

Police confirmed that the 911 call was made from inside the house,  but no one had talked to dispatch.

Sheriff Fitzgerald said, "We don't know why, we don't know how. We don't know who made the 911 call."

Now, a major update has been given on this troubling case. According to new reports, Jayme may have been spotted in Florida on Tuesday. A young girl matching Jayme's description was sighted at a gas station in Miami, 1,700 miles from her home.

Police said that the young girl may have been sighted in the area of NW 27th Avenue and 11st Street. She was in the company of two well-dressed, bearded men.

Officials said that if the young girl was Jayme, that the group was in a black Ford Explorer with a possible Wisconsin tag, I60WER.

Fitzgerald said, "At the end of the day, I want a 13-year-old here safe and sound. That's our goal. That's our only goal right now."

Jayme is 5-feet tall and 100 pounds with strawberry-blond hair and green eyes.
