Winnie Harlow Clears The Air On Her Nicki Minaj ‘Queen of Rap’ Statement: What Shade?
Winnie Harlow seemingly took sides on who holds the Queen of Hip Hop title, now she’s setting the record straight.
Things started on Saturday (Nov. 13th), Halle BerryShe gave a speech about the upcoming Netflix movie. Bruised. She spoke about how she worked on the soundtrack, and why she called. Cardi B to help. Halle Berry said,
“Thank you Cardi B, she’s my partner in crime. I reached out to Cardi b because she’s the Queen of Hip hop.”

Sunday, Nov 14th, will be the next day. Winnie Harlow was a presenter at MTV’s EMAs for Best Hip Hop Award. Nicki Minajannouncing the winner, the model of 27 years old said.
“And the winner is the one and only Queen of Hip Hop, Nicki Minaj!”

It seemed a bit too easy. Winnie HarlowWas addressing what Halle BerryAccording to her, she took to Twitter the night before to clear the air about what one social media user had written.
“Winnie was right on time! Halle Berry tried to be shady last night and claimed Cardi B was the Queen of Hip Hop. While Nicki Minaj was named the winner, #emasWINNIE, hip-hop winner, cleared Halle. He said Nicki Mnaj is the ONLY queen in hip hop! I agree.”

“I didnt see Halles speech at the time. I been a fan since middle school & have always felt that way [crown Emoji] I didnt know Nicki won until they handed me the envelope backstage but I’m proud af. Cardi is a sweetheart. What shade? I’m a fan of both.”
Cardi B Twitter: She also shared her thoughts and wrote:
“I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish sh*t… but ntm on Halle Berry. Anyway, her movie #BRUISEDDropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack! We produced together out this FRIDAY!”
