Why Is It Ok To Switch Genders But Not Ok To Switch Races?

If you have been keeping up with current events in recent years, you are probably as confused as millions of other Americans.  Bruce Jenner re-imagined himself as a woman and was celebrated by the mainstream media and progressive leaders.

Bruce was given the Arthur Ashe award for “courage” by ESPN and was labeled as “Woman of the Year” by Glamour magazine.  In other words, he was practically declared a national hero by liberals for changing his identity.

The liberal media turned their backs on real heroes and actual women in order to push the nonsensical notion that a person can pretend that they are something other than what they were born as.

On the other hand there is Rachel Dolezal, the former president of the NAACP in Spokane, Washington.  She is a white woman who chooses to identify as a black woman.  Instead of being praised by the liberal media, she is being openly skewered and ridiculed by the same people who praised Bruce Jenner.

Once the “Identity” can of worms was opened, what did the liberals expect would happen? Encouraging and praising one person’s identity swap was bound to lead to other forms of self-identification.  If concessions are made for one person to pretend to be something they are not, then concessions surely must be made for all who pretend.

It’s time that people stop pretending. Do you agree?
