Prayers are flooding in for one of “The View” co-hosts following her release from the hospital just days ago. Whoopi Goldberg, 63, was hospitalized last week for complications with a 24-hour bug, which caused her to miss an episode of the show.

Her hospitalization came as a serious concern to loved ones, co-hosts, and fans because she faced serious issues with pneumonia back in February. All of her co-hosts even visited her in the hospital to check in on her, reported PEOPLE.

“She admitted she had a setback last week, she was very sick and it’s sort of a cautionary tale — when you have someone like Whoopi Goldberg who runs on all cylinders all the time, sometimes you’ve got to take a step back,” fellow co-host Sunny Hostin stated. “Self care is really important and it’s important for all of us — we really run on all cylinders, all of us.”

“I’m better. I’m much, much better,” Goldberg assured. “I had a 24-hour bug, which landed me back in the hospital last week, which is why I missed y’all on Thursday.”

“The bug came and went. It’s gone,” she continued. “I seem to be doing well. I’m here!”

Many fans have posted healing prayers and well wishes for Goldberg as she continues recovery. May God be with her during this difficult time.
