Recently, a reporter was asking the White House Press Secretary about the current state of the world and about recent comments from Senator Bob Corker. The reporter questioned the White House about the comments.
Corker was referencing the powerful leaders who are currently dealing with a lot of things on an international level. The threat from North Korea is growing daily and terrorism is still a grave threat to America.
"I think Secretary Tillerson, Secretary Mattis, and Chief of Staff Kelly are those people that help separate our country from chaos, and I support them very much," the Republican chairman of the Senate foreign relations committee told reporters Wednesday on Capitol Hill.
When the reporter asked for comments from Sarah Huckabee at the White House Press conference, she credited President Trump. She said he is the one who is really keeping the world from chaos.
"I think the president is the one that's keeping the world from chaos," Sanders said. "He has an incredible team around him that's helping him lead that effort, and he's had tremendous accomplishments on the international stage by working with allies and confronting enemies."
Critics were quick to fire back. Some even tried to credit President Trump for creating chaos in the world instead of preventing it. Others jumped to defend President Trump.
