Jo FrostPerhaps best known as Nanny Jo, her wildly popular series Supernanny Family S.O.S. Jo Frost, continues to offer advice to parents with troubled children in a variety ways. The British native has over 30 years of experience as a professional nanny. But what have she done since her American TV debut? There’s been a ton of personal and professional developments in her life, and she’s even made comments about starting a family of her own one day. 

What’s ‘Supernanny’ Jo Frost Doing Today?

For years, Supernanny’sJo Frost offered advice to parents from both sides of the Atlantic about how to discipline and raise their children with love. She appeared like a typical British nanny but audiences fell in love and adored her warmth and total devotion to the children she cared for. 

Frost tried to leave each family she visited better off after her visits, despite sometimes having disagreements with their parents about her methods. SupernannyIt aired on ABC for six decades before being replaced on Lifetime by a spinoff called America’s SupernannyAlso known as America’s Supernanny: Family LockdownFrost was not the nanny in this show, but Deborah Tillman was. 

Lifetime announced in March 2019 that it was relaunching the popular family documentary-style reality TV show. New episodes will premiere on January 1, 2020. The season has 20 episodes. The first 10 episodes will air in 2020. The rest will air a year later, in March 2021.

Frost on Starting A Family with Husband Darrin Jacob

Frost has had many wins both professionally and personally over the years. Frost is a 2020 interview with Express, Frost revealed that she’d gotten married to her longtime friend, Darrin Jackson, “a few years ago.” When asked if she thought there might be children in the new couple’s future, she admitted that the idea of having kids “seems nice,” but didn’t seem to be in any hurry to add a couple of kiddos to her family. “The idea of kids seems nice but we’ve never been in the space where we’ve said, ‘Let’s have children,’” she explained.

Frost is in love with Jackson, regardless of what their future plans are for their family. told the Mirror was a “strong support” for her while she was busy with work commitments. She added, “He has a good heart. He gets what I do and is a real cheerleader for it.” Whatever the future holds for the beloved Nanny Jo, we think she’ll face it with the determination, heartfelt warmth, and discipline that she’s known for.
