Earlier this month, Meghan McCain announced the exciting news that she was engaged! The 33-year-old announced that she was engaged to Ben Domenech, the publisher of "The Federalist."

McCain said, "You may have read something about me on the Internet last night. I'm engaged! We've been together for years. We've been engaged for a while and it's a secret. I was hoping to get married and people wouldn't find out, but people talk sometimes. I love him very much, I'm very happy."

The couple got engaged in July, shortly after Senator John McCain was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. McCain and Domenech said that they got engaged to "celebrate life and celebrate being alive."

Now, less than a month after the secret was found out, the two are married! The couple had a low-key, sunset ceremony at Meghan's family's ranch in Arizona.

The day of their wedding, McCain posted an Instagram photo that tipped off her followers about the big day. However, the bride never told her fans what day the wedding would fall on. Just as she was planning on keeping the engagement a secret, she was very private about wedding details.

According to People, the couple was married at the McCain family lodge in Sedona, Arizona. The pre-holiday event included 100 of their family members and closest friends.

A rep for the family said, "Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech were married today at the McCain family lodge in Sedona, Arizona. The bride's father, Senator John McCain, gave her away and they were married by John Dickerson. Following the ceremony, McCain and Domenech celebrated with dinner and dancing surrounded by their family and close friends."

"[Domenech's] a very fine man. I'm very proud and very happy that they're so happy together," Sen. McCain had previously stated.

Congrats to the couple on their new marriage! Share your congratulations on Facebook. In other news, President Trump is asking for prayer as Navy searches for survivors in crash.
