A Wisconsin firefighter is warming the hearts of people on the internet. In a video that's going viral, Matt Poliak used his town of Menomonie's holiday-themed "Winter Daze" parade to propose to the special ladies in his life, reported Fox News.
Last Thursday evening, Poliak, rode in the parade in a firetruck decorated with Christmas lights. As the parade went past Johnson, Poliak jumped out of the truck and ran out into the middle of the street.
He called his girlfriend and her two-year-old daughter, Isla, out of the crowd. In the video, you see the mother and daughter run over to him.
The firefighter dropped to one knee, and he popped the question to Grace. He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him, and Grace said yes. He presented her with a diamond ring.
The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as the couple embraced. But that wasn't the end of the wonderful proposal.
Poliak then turned to kneel in front of Grace's daughter, Isla. You can't hear what he says to her but he seems to ask her a question—probably if she will let him be her daddy.
He presented her with an opened jewelry box. You can see Isla nod her head before jumping into Poliak’s arms.
At the end of the video, the newly engaged little family is all smiles as Isla waves to the crowd.
