Early Sunday morning on Manhattan Beach, police stopped a car and asked for both passengers to get out. Both were uncooperative.
Around 1 a.m., both were arrested for a DUI misdemeanor and for obstructing on officer. And both eventually posted bail.
It turned out that the driver of the car was Vince Vaughn. The early Sunday morning incident was not the first run-in Vaughn has had with the law.
In 2001 the actor was arrested after a bar brawl in Wilmington, North Carolina. In that brawl, actor Steve Buscemi was also stabbed in the incident, according to Fox News.
Vaughn, 48, is best known for his comedies like “Dodgeball” and “Wedding Crashers.” But he’s taken on more dramatic roles as of life, starring as the drill sergeant in the Oscar-winning “Hacksaw Ridge.”
Following the incident in 2001, the assault charges against Vaughn were later dropped. After Sunday’s incident, a spokesman for Vaughn did not comment.
