Megan Rapinoe is a famous name in the world of soccer. Megan currently plays for the US Women's soccer team and has been a famous figure and has fans around the globe. She has also been very vocal about her political beliefs.

She has opposed the Trump Administration and has also knelt during the national anthem. However, Megan was proud to support President Obama just a few short years ago. Now, she is saying she will not attend a ceremony at the White House if her team manages to win the championship.

She even used an expletive to say she would not go. She also thought they wouldn't be invited. President Trump spoke out about her comments via Twitter.

"We haven't yet invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear," he wrote.

He then launched a hilarious statement about Rapinoe that seemed to really drive the point home. He said she should focus on winning before worrying about coming to the White House.

"In a series of tweets, Trump claimed that sports teams 'love coming to the White House' and attacked Rapinoe, saying she 'should WIN first before she talks! Finish the job!' he said," according to CNN.

Many people were divided over the incident online. Some supported Megan while others supported the President. Either way, it will be interesting to see if Megan and her team can win in the coming match.

"Rapinoe has been outspoken about social justice issues. In 2016, she was among the first white professional athletes to show solidarity with football player Colin Kaepernick when media first began reporting on his kneeling during the national anthem. Rapinoe knelt during a game a month after it was first noticed that Kaepernick was kneeling," reported CNN.
