UPDATE: Company That Moved 1,400 Jobs To Mexico, Received Massive Amounts Of Taxpayer Money

Carrier, a heating and air conditioning company, announced last week that it was laying off 1,400 American workers from their Indianapolis plant and moving the jobs to Mexico.

A worker captured the video of the announcement and the shock and outrage that followed.

Representatives from the company pleaded that move to Mexico is needed for the company to remain in business.  However, the move seems to be more about pure profit than anything else.  According to Breitbart, the company was given a handout of $5.1 million dollars of taxpayer money by the Obama administration.

The money was used to expand production at their Indianapolis facility, the same facility that only a few years later is shutting out 1,400 workers and their families.
