One of the biggest names in the world of ultimate fighting is Conor McGregor. The UFC title champ stormed the Barclays Center in New York with an entourage of angry friends on Thursday.
Conor and his group attacked a bus full of other fighters by throwing chairs and other items at the bus and through the windows. Some of those inside the bus, including the wives of the fighters inside, were seriously injured. Some people have reportedly been transported to the hospital after sustaining major cuts from the shattered windows.
"According to multiple witnesses, McGregor, 29, ran into the arena's loading dock and began hurling objects at a bus, which was taking a group of UFC fighters to a nearby hotel," reported ESPN.
UFC President Dana White is absolutely disgusted by the act.
"They stormed the building, got down to the loading docks where the fighters were getting on buses and started to attack the buses with trash cans, dollies," White said. "... This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of this company."
White continued to comment on Conor and his future professional relationship with the UFC fighter.
"Right now, absolutely not," said White, when asked if he still wants to be in business with McGregor. "Do you want to be in business with Conor McGregor right now? Do you want to chase this guy for interviews and buy his fights? I don't think anybody is going to want to right now. I don't know if he's on drugs or what his deal is, but to come and do this and act like this? You're talking about a guy who has a baby. He just had a kid," concluded White.
White also made it a point to address conspiracy theorists who believe the whole incident is simply a stunt to promote the UFC.
"I'm seeing tons of dummies out there saying this is something staged," White said on "TMZ Live" -- "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life."
