NFL star Tyrone Crawford, 29, was officially charged in a Florida bar fight that took place earlier this year. Crawford, who was drafted in 2012, currently plays as a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys.
Back in March, Crawford reportedly punched another guest at a bar in Panama City Beach, then targeted security personnel and a police officer after he was thrown out of the facility. According to NFL News, the key defensive player was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful assembly following the incident.
Crawford reportedly pled not guilty to the charges, but allegedly faces up to 60 days in jail if he is found guilty. His first hearing is scheduled for June 13th.
The NFL organization has not responded to the situation as of early Tuesday afternoon. It is possible that Crawford could also face discipline with the team, reported the Dallas Cowboys website.
