A star NFL play from the Kansas City Chiefs has been named in an investigation involving his 3-year-old son. The son of wide receiver Tyreek Hill, 25, reportedly suffered a broken arm and is now the center of a child abuse investigation.

According to TMZ, Hill is not currently named as a suspect in the investigation but only as a “person involved.” Hill’s partner and the mother of his child, Crystal Espinal, is also named as an involved person in the case.

The Kansas City Chiefs responded to news of the report:

"The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill. We’re in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities."

However, the star wide receiver does have a violent history. In 2014, Hill was involved in a domestic violence case where he reportedly punched and choked the victim.
