A lot of people do not want to vote in this election--Christians included. They don't feel that either of the candidates truly reflects who they want as a President. But leaders like Franklin Graham have been strongly warning against not voting this November: "Remember: Nearly 30 million evangelicals failed to make their way to the voting booth in the last election cycle. We must not repeat that mistake again this November."
Why is this election so important? Trump answered that question at a recent meeting for Evangelical leaders. Talking about the potential Supreme Court Justices Clinton would pick, he said: "[S]he knows the extremist judges she would pick would be rejected by the overwhelming majority of the American public. They'd be rejected. Clinton's judicial picks would allow her to completely take over American health care, the American economy, and Americans religious liberty – not to mention your Second Amendment, which is on very thin ice right now, as you know, because of the fact that we're at four-and- four."
The religious liberty issue hits an especially strong chord with Christians right now, as we've seen numerous business owners sued and fined over standing for Biblical marriage. Trump says this election could be our last big moment to cling to our religious liberties, reports the Christian Post. Boldly addressing the crowd of Evangelicals, Trump said, "Believe me, I know. I look at the stats. You didn't vote. But this time you really have — and this is your last chance," Trump argued. "This is it. I mean, we'll never have this opportunity again. So I hope you can get every one of your friends and just get up — your family and your friends, and get out and vote, OK?"
