President Trump Responds to 'College Night' Horrific Shooting, 13 Dead, More Injured

On late Wednesday night, a lone gunman stormed a bar and opened fire. The bar was hosting “Country College Night.”

Initial reports claimed that 13 people were killed in the fatal shooting. 11 people within the bar were shot and killed, the first officer to enter the bar was shot and later died at the hospital,  and the gunman was found dead when more responders got to the scene.

President Trump was fully briefed on the situation and took to social media to talk about the bravery of the first responders and to share his condolences for the victims and their families.

President Trump said, “I have been fully briefed on the terrible shooting in California. Law Enforcement and First Responders, together with the FBI, are one the scene. 13 people,  at this time, have been reported dead. Likewise, the shooter is dead, along with the first police officer to enter the bar…”

He continued, “Great bravery shown by police. California Highway Patrol was on the scene within 3 minutes, with first officer to enter shot numerous times. That Sheriff’s Sergeant died in the hospital. God bless all of the victims and families of the victims. Thank you to Law Enforcement!”
