Former White House aide and reality television star Omarosa Manigault made national headlines last year following her unexpected White House departure. Since she left President Donald Trump’s administration, Omarosa blasted Trump’s cabinet continuously on episodes of “Celebrity Big Brother” and in media interviews.
Omarosa also wrote a book, "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House," explaining her anti-Trump experiences at the White House. The book will be released the week of August 13th.
Throughout the book, Omarosa reportedly describes President Trump as “mentally waning, racist and lewd, charismatic but emotionally abusive,” reported CNN. She also claimed she was fired because she “knew too much” about an alleged recording of Trump making racist remarks. In her words, Trump tried to buy her off, but she refused; this allegation has no evidence to support her claim.
Over the weekend, President Trump addressed the escalating situation with Omarosa directly. While answering a variety of questions from the media on Saturday, Trump was asked about Omarosa by one reporter.
“Do you feel betrayed by Omarosa, sir?” the reporter asked.
Trump shut reporters down with his one-word response: “Lowlife.”
“She’s a lowlife,” he added as laughter roared from the crowd.
