The President of the United States set many new precedents while running for office. He was one of the first candidates to fully utilize his Twitter account and to spread his message directly to the people who matter the most: everyday Americans.

President Trump used his account, which has over 53 million followers, to combat fake news and issue his thoughts on various subjects. While some people disagree with his use of the platform, it is an unmatched tool for generating awareness.

However, Donald Trump is sometimes criticized not only for what he says but for the way he says it. He recently took to Twitter to defend himself from critics.

"After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!

However, the President made a spelling error in the tweet. He corrected it soon after the first one was posted.

Unfortunately for Mr. Trump, the damage was done. He was brutally bashed online for the irony of misspelling a word in a tweet that boasted of his writing skills. In fact, one of the most famous authors in the world chimed in on the error: J.K. Rowling.

Either way, President Trump has found himself in much worse situations. He always seems to come out on top. We assume this one will be no different.
