Donald Trump has just landed a huge, unsolicited endorsement, and it's not just from 1 person. It's from 330,000.
The National Fraternal Order of Police, which touts itself as "the largest law enforcement labor organization in the United States," released a statement Friday afternoon clearly explaining why Trump has their "full support."
The Order's president, Chuck Canterbury, said the Republican presidential candidate "has seriously looked at the issues facing law enforcement today. He understands and supports our priorities and our members believe he will make America safe again."
He said Trump has personally talked with them about public safety and has made a "real commitment" to America's officers.
Canterbury added, "Donald Trump may not ever have been elected to public safety, but he is a proven leader and that's what we need for the next four years — a leader unafraid to make tough choices and see them through. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration on the issues that matter most to law enforcement."
The endorsement says a lot in a day and age where police seem to be under an increasing level of attack.
What do you think about this?
