Trump Family Celebrates a Day in History that Changed America Forever

June 17, 2017Jun 17, 2017

On June 16th of 2015, Donald J. Trump announced that he was running for president at Trump Tower in New York City. Two years later on June 16th of 2017, many remembered the day that essentially led to him becoming the 45th President of the United States, following former President Barack Obama.

Ivanka Trump shared a photo in honor of the occasion. The photo was taken the day that Trump made his announcement of potentially becoming a presidential candidate. Most of the Trump family was present including Ivanka and her husband, Melania and Barron Trump, Eric and Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Donald Trump Jr.’s family.

Much has happened since that day two years ago, including Trump defeating Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. In Trump’s first 100 days in office, he signed 30 executive orders. Since his inauguration, he has also placed an enormous focus on creating more American jobs and bringing the word of God back into our country.

First Lady Melania Trump consistently participates in community outreach projects, mostly with children’s hospitals, and First Daughter Ivanka Trump has become very involved in empowering and encouraging women to be more involved in the STEM industry.

June 16th, 2015 changed the course of American history after 8 years of America being driven by the Democratic party. This day reminds us of President Donald Trump bringing back conservative and Christian values to the country in hopes of Making America Great Again.

Watch a clip from Trump’s announcement speech below. Throughout his speech, you can hear people yell and shout. At the end of the video, when he officially announces he is running for office and vows to ‘Make America Great Again’, the crowd happily applauds and cheers!

Please continue to pray for God’s guidance over the First Family. Thank you!
