"17 years since September 11th!" wrote President Trump.

President Trump's words about 9-11 were also scrutinized. Many people felt that he should have said something more perusal or heartfelt about the attacks. A lot of critics took to social media to voice their concerns.

"This isn’t honoring 9/11. He can write paragraphs about his witch hunt, yet only one sentence about this tragic day. No one would be mad if he ACTUALLY honored this day," wrote one user.

Despite the harsh criticism, it is clear that President Trump chose to use his day to honor the victims of 9-11 by personally attending memorial services instead of simply just tweeting about the events. It was wonderful to see President Trump and Melania at the remembrance services.
