In the final days under Obama’s presidency, Loretta Lynch’s Justice Department is on the attack against FBI Director James Comey for announcing new, potentially damaging information in his Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal just days before the election.
According to the New York Times, inspector general Michael Horowitz will also investigate other aspects of Comey’s handling of the case, including Comey’s labelling of Hillary as “extremely careless” for breaking State Department rules and sending and receiving classified work e-mails on an unsecured, unauthorized personal server.
President-Elect Donald Trump responded to the new investigation Friday on Twitter: “What are Hillary Clinton's people complaining about with respect to the F.B.I.”
“Based on the information they had she should never have been allowed to run — guilty as hell,” he continued.
He added, “They were VERY nice to her. She lost because she campaigned in the wrong states — no enthusiasm!”
Do you think Trump has a good point here?
