Trump Attacked For Not Coming To Obama’s Aid Over THIS Question

In an act of election season aggression, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton rushed to seize upon an opportunity to attack Donald Trump.

According to Fox news, while at a campaign stop in Rochester, N.H. a man responded to a call from Donald Trump for questions.  “We have a problem in this country.  It’s called Muslims”, the man said, “We know our current president is one.  You know he’s not even an American”.  Trump stopped the man and asked what his question was.  “We have training camps growing where they want to kills us.  That’s my question.  When can we get rid of it?,”  the man asked.

Ignoring the bigoted generalization of all Muslims and the comment aimed at Obama, Trump answered only the man’s question.  “We’re going to be looking at a lot of different things.  And you know, a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there.  We’re going to be looking at that and plenty of other things”

That exchange was all it took for the Democrats to try and wrestle media coverage away from the Trump and back towards them.  Using backwards logic, Hillary Clinton tweeted, “Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing & just plain wrong”

While Trump was one of the original “birther” movement members that questioned Obama's citizenship during Obama’s presidential run in 2008, it is surely ironic that Hillary would jump in on the attack.

According to The Daily Caller, her campaign in 2008 was responsible for supplying The Drudge Report with an image showing Obama dressed as a Somali elder complete with the traditional head wear while visiting Kenya.  At the time, Obama’s campaign called Clinton’s actions “shameful offensive fear-mongering”.

Not one to let an opportunity slip away, Bernie Sanders joined in on the attack.  He tweeted, “Trump must apologize to the president and American people for continuing the lie that the president is not an American and not a Christian.”

The problem with Bernie Sanders’ calling out Trump for this particular incident is that his campaign caved to the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement when they took the stage at his Seattle rally in August.  The BLM movement is a controversial organization that has chanted racist and harmful rhetoric and incited violence towards police officers.

The masses can see the Democrats “outrage” for what it is.  It is nothing more than a convenient election season opportunity.

Was Trump wrong for not correcting the man’s awful remarks?  Yes.  A presidential candidate should operate with class and dignity.  But if he is guilty, so are Clinton and Sanders.

Do you think that Trump should have corrected the man?
