Prayers are needed for the families of two victims who tragically lost their lives in a fatal car crash. The accident, which also involved country music star Travis Tritt, took place early Saturday morning in South Carolina.

According to Fox News, a car was driving the wrong way on a highway when it collided with another vehicle on the road. The tour bus was swiped during the incident. Everyone on Tritt’s tour bus was in good condition, and the bus only sustained minor damage. The other cars were not so fortunate.

Tritt first announced the heart-wrenching news on Twitter. In his thread, he revealed that two people were killed in what is believed to have been a drunk driving accident.

“Thank God we are all okay. I feel so bad for those who died needlessly tonight. I’m really shaken up by what I witnessed,” Tritt admitted. “God bless those who died...I’m so incredibly sad for those who lost their lives tonight.”

“We only were sideswiped in tonight’s accident. It could’ve been so much worse,” the country musician added. “God was obviously watching over us tonight. I praise God for keeping us safe!”

In addition to praising God, Tritt also used his post as a plea against driving under the influence. He encouraged people to take Ubers or Lyfts if needed.

Please keep all of those impacted by this tragedy in your prayers. May God bring them peace and comfort during this time.
