Travis Scott was accused of violating his gag agreement regarding payments to Astroworld victims.
Some victims’ attorneys claim Scott’s announcement about Project HEAL earlier this month, a $5 million initiative that includes funding to address safety issues for festivals and large-scale events, may have been a violation of the order.
“My team and me created Project HEAL in order to support real solutions that make every event the safest possible. Scott posted on Instagram that he will always remember the Astroworld victims who will remain in his heart forever.
The attorney claims his post violated a gag order. However, Stephen Brody (one of Scott’s attorneys) said that his did not violate the gag order. Scott’s lawyers argued that any attempts to stop him speaking on this topic or any other issue would be against his constitutional right to free expression.
Last week Scott performed in Bel Air, California for the first time since 2021 Astroworld Festival.
