There's been another tragic death in the Kennedy family. Law enforcement sources are telling TMZ that Christopher Lawford, JFK's nephew, has passed away.
He reportedly had a medical emergency while at a yoga study on Tuesday night. He later died of appears to be "natural causes." He was 63.
Lawford was the son of actor Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy, who was President Kennedy's younger sister. Lawford was also an actor, who appeared on "General Hospital," "Terminator 3," "All My Children," "Fraiser," and various other TV series.
Lawford was reportedly spent a lot of time with his famous uncle, President John F. Kennedy, during his presidency. He was only 8 when his uncle passed away.
In addition to acting, Lawford was also active in politics. He received a J.D. at Boston College School of Law, and he was active with the Democratic National Committee.
He worked for his Uncle, Senator Ted Kennedy. He also worked with his Aunt Eunice Shriver on the Special Olympics.
Lawford's life was plagued with addiction issues. He wrote a New York Times best-selling book, "Symptoms of Withdrawal," about his recovery.
"Lawford had battled addiction issues back in the '70s and '80s. He was reportedly arrested in 1980 for allegedly impersonating a doctor to score prescriptions," notes TMZ.
His family is already mourning his passing. His cousin, Kerry Kennedy, posted about him on Twitter.
She wrote, "We mourn the loss of my cousin Christopher Lawford, Rest in Peace."
Please pray for his family as they mourn his passing at such a young age.
In other sad news, there was a tragic update about a 2-year-old boy who disappeared in Florida. Murder charges have been filed in his case. Please pray.
