Trader Joe's customers are being cautioned after glass and plastic have been found in various pre-packaged salads. Three ready-to-eat chicken and turkey salads have now been recalled due to the risk.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Green Cuisine has recalled the three salads. The produce in question was packaged between November 4 and 15.

Recalled salads include the "Trader Joe's white meat chicken salad with celery, carrots and green onions," "Trader Joe's curried white chicken deli salad with toasted cashews, green onion, and a bit of honey," and "Trader Joe's turkey cranberry apple salad turkey breast meat with sweet dried cranberries, tangy green apples, pecans and sage." All recalled products have a use-by date between Nov. 10-12.

According to the company, products with the "INSPECTED" code P-40299 may contain pieces of glass/hard plastic. However, products with a different "INSPECTED" code are not included in this recall.

Customers who purchased these salads are urged not to consume these products and to either throw them away or return them to the store for a full refund. For those with any further questions, contact the Consumer Affairs Group at 855-215-5128.
