A heart-wrenching story has emerged out of the Hollywood scene. Tommie Lee, 34, from the popular reality television series “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” is facing multiple child abuse charges. The details regarding the abuse incident are very disturbing.

According to TMZ, Lee was first arrested in October of 2018 after making an appearance at her daughter’s middle school. The reality tv star allegedly slapped her daughter’s hands with her purse strap, slapped her across the face, then dragged her down the hall by her hair and threw her into a metal locker.

Lee was previously court-ordered to stay away from her child but had contact with her less than 24 hours later, which landed her back in jail.

Following the horrible incident, Lee has been indicted on seven child abuse charges including three felonies and four misdemeanors. If she is convicted on all of the charges, she faces up to 54 years of prison time, reported TMZ.

This news comes shortly after it was announced that Lee would be leaving the reality series. Lee appeared on the show from season 5 (2016) to season 7 (2018).

This story is developing and will be updated if more details are released to the public. However, it is known that Lee has had prior legal troubles including a DUI and disorderly conduct.
