Congratulations are in order for Fox News host Tomi Lahren, 26, and her new fiancé Brandon Fricke! The two got engaged over the weekend in New York City.
In publicly-shared photos, the newly-engaged pair was smiling after Fricke’s romantic proposal. The Manhattan skyline is visible in the background as Lahren showed off her dazzling engagement ring.
“I love you more and those are my Final Thoughts and you are my forever,” the conservative political commentator wrote in an Instagram post.
“Last night my best friend said YES! I love you,” Fricke added on his social media account.
The couple has been dating for about a year, according to PEOPLE. Fricke, 30, played college football for Central Michigan University and now reportedly works as an NFL contract advisor.
It is unclear exactly how they first met in person. However, their love story actually began in 2017 when Fricke sent Lahren a message on Instagram. He told her to “stay strong” and invited her out to dinner, but she never responded. Eventually, they met face-to-face and he pursued her. The rest is history.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Details of their wedding day have not yet been released. Stay tuned for details.
