Conservatives got a special shoutout at this year's Super Bowl. During a play, Brady called out an audible to his team.
The Patriot's quarterback yelled, "Reagan." The call came during the third quarter of the game. Mics barely caught the six-time Super Bowl winner yelling "Reagan, Reagan."
Booth announcer Tony Romo immediately asked, “Is that Ronald Reagan?”
His suspicions were confirmed when the players ran to the right. Romo quickly added what the Reagan audible means: “Obviously, Reagan means run to the right.”
People flooded to Twitter to wonder if Brady was antagonizing the left with his audible call. Brady is known to be conservative, and he reportedly has a MAGA hat in his locker.
People on Twitter laughed over the reference. Some even went as far as to call the Patriots the "team of the Republican Party."
Predictably, the left wasn't happy about the call. A few minutes after the call, people were already saying it meant Brady is a racist.
