After eight seasons, The Real, a daytime talk show hosted by Garcelle Beauvais and Adrienne Houghton, Loni LOVE, Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Loni Love, was canceled. MTO News had reported weeks earlier that the show was going away. The decision has now been made.
Variety reported that Fox Stations Group has decided not to renew the Emmy Award-winning panel show for a ninth season, Variety reported.
The syndicated series was launched in 2013 and has seen a rotating list of hosts throughout its nearly ten-year-long tenure, including Tamar Bradxton and Amanda Seales.

In the end The Real cast & crew did everything they could to scale the show down,’ co-host Loni Love said in a statement. “We shot 7-8 shows in three days, no audience, turned a conference room into studio, but I believe Covid costs killed the show.
She added: ‘It’s been a great ride and thanks to the viewers for 8 great seasons!’
Garcelle still has a job – as a member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lonnie Love is a comedian and is expected to make a living off the show.
Adrienne and Jeannie seem to have no other jobs. However, MTO News reported that Jeannie is in talks with MTO News to join the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
