On Thursday, July 4th, a case of road rage that led to a shooting occurred in the Houston, Texas area. Sadly, two toddlers were left in critical condition as a result of the road rage incident.

According to WATE, the disagreement started after a husband and wife just purchased fireworks for the holiday. They were driving in the car with their two young children; one child is one year old and the other is believed to be somewhere between one and three years old.

It is unclear exactly what caused the argument, but the other driver was angry enough to shoot at the family’s car. The dad of two attempted to drive away; however, the vehicle engulfed into flames.

The parents reportedly did not have any serious injuries. Unfortunately, the toddlers suffered severe burns and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The suspect is still at large. This story is still developing and will be updated as more information is released.

Please pray for the two toddlers. May God heal their bodies!
