Tisha Campbell & Her Brother Launch An App To Help Civilians Find Solutions To Negative Police Encounters

The “Martin” actress announced that she is launching an app to help civilians better navigate during police encounters. The “Police Encounter App” will help civilians find solutions to negative police encounters as well as educate them on their legal rights when it comes to law enforcement. Tisha Campbell, 53-year-old, shared the news with her followers via Instagram on Wednesday (Mar.2) She captioned the photo.
“This is BIG! My brother @therealsoupcampbell and I have been working on #thepoliceencounterapp with our grassroots organization called D.O.P.E. De-escalating Officer Patrol Encounters @dopethemovement we both created to help find solutions to negative police encounters since 2017.”

She continued:
“It is important to me that you get you and your loved ones home safe and I felt it even more crucial because I have a son who’s of driving age. I needed to arm both my kids and my adult friends with information and It’s finally here! There’s so much more to do but I hope you join us!!!!! Please download app today at apple store”
Tisha CampbellShe then shared a video that outlined the app’s purpose and explained the goal. She explains in the video.
“Through the Police Encounter App, we will feature experts to present valuable information about how to properly complain on officer, your rights as citizens, the criminal justice system, tips on police encounters the limitations of officers, and what the Supreme Court allows.”
The app will also have a top-level feature that will include exclusive tools like
“An SOS button to alert your family of your GPS location and starts and saves an audio and video recording of your police contact.”
