Tiffany Trump drew attention at the State of the Union Address on Tuesday night. The youngest daughter of President Trump showed up wearing an all-white outfit.
Tiffany, whose mother is actress Marla Maples, didn't match her older half-siblings who were all dressed in black. Instead, she matched the female Democratic lawmakers, who had agreed to wear white.
The Georgetown Law student's outfit sent Twitter into a frenzy. People began to speculate if she deliberately wore white or if she was unaware that the Democrats would be wearing white.
Female Democratic lawmakers pre-arranged wearing white to send the message that they “are fighting for the economic security of women & families,” said Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) on Twitter.
Tiffany Trump hasn’t offered an explanation for why she wore the color. It's quite possible that she just likes the color, and she was unaware of the Democrat's decision to wear white.
She also wore a white top to Trump’s 2018 address. Likewise, she regularly wears white in the photos she posts to Instagram.
In photographs that Tiffany’s siblings Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. shared to Twitter ahead of the speech, Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle also was wearing white.
Tiffany's dress was a stark contrast to her stepmother, Melania Trump's, outfit choice. Melania stunned in a navy ensemble that made a clear statement.
