Three good things: UK summer festivals that connect you with nature

1. Medicine Festival (18-21 Aug)

This festival ‘for people and planet’, held in an ancient woodland in Berkshire, is the leading light of a new breed of wellbeing festival – it’s alcohol-free and focused more on fire circles and cacao ceremonies than mosh pits.

Through talks and workshops, the founders want to help people understand how they can tread lightly on the earth. The musical lineup features Natty, a singer and folk singer, as likewise as Sam Lee, an indigenous musician from Brazil, Ghana, Colombia.

Satish Kumar and Bruce Parry are in talks. There will also be fire ceremonies, fire ceremonies, and a colourful family area with flower headdresses and acroyoga. All profits go towards supporting indigenous tribes.
