On Monday, July 23, a beloved co-host on "The View" announced that she will be leaving the show. Sara Haines announced that she will be joining Michael Strahan on a new segment for "Good Morning America."

The pair will host a new segment in the third hour called "GMA Day" that is scheduled to begin in September. While fans were excited about this news, they were sad that this meant Sara Haines would be leaving "The View."

Haines said, "I will be leaving the show for the best reason, but I have to start with this: I've watched 'The View' since it began...This has been a dream I've always had- to be on this show."

She continued, "Everyday I walk out here, I've never taken it for granted...I've been crying. People keep telling me- Joy Behar- she keeps telling me not to cry, so I won't cry. But I never thought in a million years I would be leaving one dream job for another dream job."

Now, people are speculating about who will take Haines' spot on the popular show. According to reports, "Fox & Friends Weekend" co-host Abby Huntsman is at the top of the list. Many people believe Huntsman could be a top pick in order to have a "second conservative host to keep Meghan McCain company." Another name that has been rumored to be a top pick is CNN contributor Ana Navarro. While they are just speculations, people have been sharing their opinions about them on social media:

While sources are already speculating about Haines' replacement, some sites noted that ABC would most likely not announce who it would be until just before the show's new season after Labor Day.
