On Sunday, April 1st of 2018, believers across the globe will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Ahead of Easter Sunday, the Royal family offered a powerful message centered around our Lord and Savior.
Prince of Wales (Charles), the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II, shared the message for Good Friday — honoring the day Jesus was crucified on the cross. In his message, he emphasized his appreciation for those who have been persecuted for their beliefs, and additionally, encouraged others to pray for and forgive their enemies as Jesus did.
“This Easter I want to salute the fortitude of all those who, whatever their faith, are persecuted for remaining faithful to the true essence of their beliefs,” the Prince stated.
“I admire and greatly respect all those of you who find it in your hearts to pray for those who persecute you...and following the example of Christ, seek forgiveness for your enemies,” he ended.

As tradition holds, the Royal family visited Windsor Castle on Good Friday and will be back to the castle on Easter Sunday for a church service at St. George's Chapel, reported Metro. This location will also be the destination for Charles' youngest son (Prince Harry) and Meghan Markle's wedding day in May.
