The left should be thrilled that President Joe Biden has given everything they asked for.
The left loves inflation. It lowers the value of old money and prints lots of new money. Those richer who have it, lose the value of their money; those poorer who don’t have any money, suddenly do.
Inflation is even more louder when it is combined with low interest rate. Inflating the money supply has been a Democrat goal since Jimmy Carter.
For decades, the left has amplified former Energy Secretary Steven Chu’s 2008 dream that the government must spike fuel costs up to European levels. This was seen as the best way for unsophisticated Americans not to burn gas and to switch to renewable energy. Biden took this sermon seriously.
He cancelled federal energy leases. He stopped drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. He canceled all pipelines and warned the oil sector that their days were numbered. Biden has done more than any other Democrat to ensure fossil fuels were unaffordable, forcing America’s supposedly unthinking consumers to drive less or consider ditching their gas-engine cars altogether.
The hard-left American left wanted unlimited illegal immigration. Biden agreed to this and has been lax in his security measures at the southern border.
In less than two years, almost 3 million illegal aliens have flooded into the United States. Nearly all of them arrived in the USA unvaccinated, untested and poorly vetted at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Biden doesn’t seem to be concerned about the record number of Americans dying from drug overdoses crossing the border. While child traffickers were unaffected, cartels became more powerful and wealthier than ever before Biden’s watch.
Biden did more than any other Democrat to ensure massive illegal migration as part of the leftist dream to flip red states blue by changing their demography.
The left rails against imperialism and neocolonialism as well as military expenditures. Biden pulled all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan without warning. He abandoned a new $1 billion embassy, a 300 million-refitted U.S. military base, and $80bn worth of sophisticated weapons and equipment.
Biden did more than any other Democrat to ensure that the United States was humiliated abroad and its expeditionary forces taught a lesson in the dangers of foreign intervention.
The left glorifies race. It enshrined the idea of “good” racial discrimination: to stop racial bias, one must be racially biased.
Biden was the president who first promised in advance that his vice presidential running mate must be both black and female. For his cabinet picks, Biden ignored most criteria of prior experience or specific expertise, but instead ensured that his administration was “diverse.”
No previous Democratic president was so dependent on identity politics or used de facto sexual identity quotas in his presidential appointments.
The criminal justice system has been criticized by the left for many years. It believes that punishment doesn’t deter crime. Instead, it is a result racism and a toxic capitalism system.
Biden agrees. Federal attorneys mirror the so-called George Soros country and county prosecutors, who enforce law largely according ideological directives.
None of the previous presidents has been able to weaponize either the FBI or the Pentagon in ways that have made them social revolutionaries.
No prior Democratic president has so attacked conservatives, a strict-constructionist Supreme Court, and the Republican Party.
So why is the left so eager for Biden to be ousted or at minimum ensure that he is not reelected in 2024?
Strangely, leftists do not grasp that Biden’s current record and unpopularity are due not just to his unmistakable cognitive decline. His toxic personality and creepy ways of trying to grab the attention of invisible people, as well as his inability to respect the privacy of younger women, are not the problem.
Instead, the Biden administration has been a failure because voters dislike its agendas. They scream at $5-per-gallon gas. They feel their lives have been destroyed by 9.1% inflation and supply chain shortfalls.
The public is sick of the near record-breaking annual rises in murders, and other violent crime.
They are sickened from the tsunami of dangerous drugs flowing across the border and millions upon millions of foreign nationals entering their country unassisted.
They are furious that the Biden cabinet doesn’t respond to these natural disasters. Instead, the administration denies that crises exist.
Or it can blame its own self-created mess on Trump or the Russians or their own Democratic senators, who refused to print more trillions of dollars.
The left is now looking for a younger, charismatic, and more glib president to replace their outdated, unpopular agendas.
But, since when has a change in a poor messenger ever made a disaster message?
