The Kidd Creole, a former member of the hip-hop pioneer group Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five, was found guilty in 2017 in the stabbing death of a New York City homeless man.
According to prosecutors, The Kidd Creole and a homeless man were talking when they met. The Kidd Creole became upset by the exchange and turned around to confront the man. He then stabbed the man twice in the torso, using a steak knife. A group of tourists discovered the bloodied body minutes later.

The Kidd then went two blocks away to his office, changed his clothes, and cleaned the knife. To cover up the attack, Kidd got on the subway and threw it in the sewer.
Tourists discovered the homeless man and took him to the hospital, where he died later.
Kidd Creole was tried before a jury in New York Supreme Court and found guilty for first degree mansluaghter. He will be sentenced May 4th
