Television Star Announces Cancer Diagnosis, Given 3% Chance of Living

In recent months, the entertainment industry has had numerous people die or suffer tragic injuries. Now, another reality television star has just announced a grim cancer diagnosis.

Ami Brown is best known as the mother of the Brown family. The Brown’s have risen to national fame after the “Alaskan Bush People” television show was created. The show documents their struggles and day-to-day life in the Alaskan wilderness as a family.

According to one news report, the “Alaskan Bush People” matriarch Ami Brown’s cancer “has rapidly progressed, and in a shocking new interview, the 53-year-old mother of seven revealed that she has ‘less than a three percent chance of survival!’”

According to People, her throat is raw from the radiation, she’s dropped from 128 lbs. to 89.4 lbs., and husband Billy says doctors have given them somber survival statistics (as low as 3 percent) — but Ami, 53, refuses to give up hope.

Still, Ami is vowing to continue to fight for her life. She says it would be easy to give up, but she doesn’t want to choose that option.

“I realized early into this that it’s very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days,” she says. “But I have the will to fight.”

Please join us in praying for Ami and her family. We ask for God’s healing grace to touch their lives and for a miraculous recovery for her!
