The Trump family has been the Left-leaning media’s main target since Donald Trump became the United States 45th president in 2016. The liberal media often pushes an agenda against Trump’s politics and paints his family in a negative light.

Trump’s wife, First Lady Melania Trump, often suffers the brunt end of the deal as media outlets criticize her for her past, marriage, children, and more. Recently, the Telegraph — a popular international media outlet — published a cover story titled “The mystery of Melania,” which negatively targeted Mrs. Trump’s background and her former modeling career.

In a shocking statement on January 26th, the Telegraph issued a public apology to Melania. The statement also assured that the First Lady would be receiving payment to cover damages and legal costs.

“Following last Saturday’s (Jan 19) Telegraph magazine cover story “The mystery of Melania”, we have been asked to make clear that the article contained a number of false statements which we accept should not have been published,” the writer of the article stated.

“We apologise unreservedly to The First Lady and her family for any embarrassment caused by our publication of these allegations.  As a mark of our regret we have agreed to pay Mrs Trump substantial damages as well as her legal costs,” the publisher added.
