6ix9ine is being sued once again…this time, for missing several concerts in Hollywood.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Streammusic claims the rapper agreed to perform several concerts in Los Angeles inside a private venue.
In August, they agreed to pay him $150,000 upfront to sign the deal and he agreed to “perform two musical concerts” and Streammusic was granted the rights to stream a live audiovisual broadcast of the performances. He was to promote them on his social media.
They claim that the rapper ghosted them in December and didn’t promote the show on social media.
They stated that they had “allocated significant financial resources and human resource in connection with preparing and marketing the performances that Defendant accepted to perform, including hours marketing meetings, hours of curating audio assets, hours developing embedding videos into Plaintiff’s mobile app, hours curating assets and managerial tasks, as well as arrangements for extra security precautions.”
They are asking for “compensatory damages not less than $1million” and for exemplary, punitive damages not less than $1million.
